Lobsters and Baby Alex

Last week my parents were in town to help take care of my brother’s baby while they moved into their new home.  We met up with them this past weekend and went out for some fresh Maine lobsters at Old Port Lobster Shack in Redwood City, 30 minutes south of San Francisco.  I don’t think we’ve ever had lobsters this big in our lives…flown in straight from Maine!

We got back to Steve’s place to play a little with Baby Alex.  He’s growing so fast!

Steve and Carol are now proud parents to Baby Alex!

Perfect timing for my parents to visit for the 4th of July weekend.  Carol’s parents also made it out to join us.

With a bit of free time, we took my parents to Twin Peaks to really see the city from the top.  We also saw fireworks from our rooftop.  Unfortunately, there was a lot of fog and it was a little too far for pictures.

It was a good day for Twin Peaks though!
