Bloody Marys and Friends
Written by admin on August 23, 2009 – 11:58 pm -Last Sunday we got together with some more friends who were in town. Mike and Brandi came from NYC to visit and we got to spend some time with them. A few old friends also joined in for brunch at Paul K Restaurant in Hayes Valley. We later went to Alamo Square to let our dog, Kiwi, burn some energy.

Brunch, Beats, Bottomless Mimosas…What else??
Written by admin on August 5, 2009 – 10:03 pm -What a great start to a Saturday. We had brunch at a hip, loud, fun place with my friend, Adrienne, from Orange County. Susanna picked a great spot in the Castro called “Lime,” with bright interior with chic and modern decor. As you step inside, the loud dance/house music takes over and you might be confused at having entered a club at 12 noon for brunch. However, this was a place for brunch and it will wake you up if you’re not already.
Luckily, we made reservations and had our table right on time. Everyone else waited at the lounge with drinks like it was a Saturday club night.
The music was so loud that we had to speak over each other to hear, but somehow that was the fun of it. Our server was great and the bottomless mimosas kept coming. Our food was good and we all had a great time in a very lively atmosphere. A perfect place with friends!
Somehow, I didn’t get too many great shots but here’s a little capture of that day.
