Boat Tour to Golden Gate Bridge and Alcatraz
Azusa’s family came for a visit a few weeks ago from Japan. We had a great time showing them around and we also got to do lots of new things. Of course, we ate and ate, and visited many places. The week went by really fast and everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves here but in the end we were sad to see them leave. These pictures should capture some memories:
After some crab and beer, we caught a small boat right as it was about to leave dock for a one hour tour. That was some fun experience and we got to see the Golden Gate Bridge, Alcatraz, and San Francisco in a different way. And we saw some seals too!
One of the crewmen also offered to take our picture as we approached underneath the Golden Gate Bridge.
The boat ride was really fun and we got back at a good time for everyone to rest up from a long flight in. Tomorrow, we cross the Golden Gate Bridge to Muirwoods National Park and spend some time in Sausalito, CA.

My hood - Nob Hill, San Francisco
Written by admin on September 19, 2008 – 12:46 pm -Well I’ve taken some pictures of my neighborhood.
We’re in such a great area and it’s so cool to just walk around and have wonderful views right off the streets.
There is a cathedral right next to our street where many tourists come to visit.
A small park nearby is perfect for walking my dog so we don’t have to go far.
You can even see the water from the street view!
