This morning we took a trolley out to The Embarcadero where the Ferry Plaza Farmer’s Market is held every Tuesday and Saturday mornings.

Merchants set up tents outside the building with fresh produce from their own farms. Farmers from Petaluma, CA, Santa Cruz, CA, and even Southern CA farmers were there with their products. Most were all organic produce and fruits. We also found farmers selling eggs, honey, bakeries, and other specialties.

We had a taste of some tomatos from Santa Cruz and they were so sweet we had to buy some. Grapes were plentiful and peaches/plums/pluots were a hit.

Cool place to go if you ever need some super fresh items for your cooking.
